More Than Meets the Eye

We've mentioned that we are different from the dealer & most other repair facilities. One of those differences lies in our Repair Services Warranty, which is one of the strongest in the industry. We even go beyond the warranty extended by BMW NA. That's how strongly we believe in our technical ability & the quality of the parts we select to repair your car.

Here are the details...

If you have your vehicle repaired at Schneller, we will warranty the parts & labor of that repair for a period of 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of your completed repair order. Should you have a problem, please call us to schedule an inspection so that we can verify the issue. If, during the warranty period, we discover a faulty part, or problem with our workmanship, we'll fix it at no charge.

We are reasonable people; others aren't, so there need to be some rules...

Warranty services must be verified, approved & performed by Schneller.

Performance parts are excluded, as are vehicles used in competition of any kind, including driver schools, autocross, drifting, and any abusive street displays of testosterone infused mimickery of the Fast & the Furious or BBC's Top Gear (You really are not the Stig after all - if you know who he is, you know what we mean!) There is no warranty on parts or labor for any of the aforementioned practices - behave yourself!

If, to repair your car, you chose a rebuilt part instead of a new part, the warranty period for parts & labor will be that which is offered by the seller of the part. For transmissions that is 30 months/unlimited mileage. For Factory BMW engines the period is 24 months.

If, to repair your car, you selected a used part, instead of a New Part, the warranty period for parts & labor will be that which is offered by the seller of the part. That period is usually 30days - used parts are a gamble. The Old English idiom "don't be pennywise & pound foolish" applies here.

There is no warranty on parts or labor if you supplied your own parts. You shouldn't be buying parts that you have no means to install. The Old English idiom "don't be pennywise & pound foolish" also applies here.

There is no warranty if the repair invoice wasn't paid in full.

Again, we are reasonable people & we want to keep you as a customer. So we will do our best to make it right for all parties involved. If there ever is a problem with a repair we performed on your vehicle, please call us so that we may correct the problem.
