Magazines worldwide featured the build, including European Car, England’s Performance BMW, and the BMW Car Club’s Roundel.
Success brought commissions for similar builds: a 360 horsepower M7 with a six-speed manual, an M5 wagon making comparable power, and a deceptively stock-looking European 520i hiding a 300 horsepower M3 engine. Each project pushed boundaries while maintaining the refinement BMW owners expect.
Mike and Jennifer didn’t stop at building fast cars. They earned BMW CCA racing licenses and became High Performance Driving Instructors, teaching at events throughout New England. Their son Hans inherited the obsession early, racing karts at seven and BMWs by sixteen. He graduated from Hobart College with an environmental science degree in 2022 and now races a Schneller-built E30 in SCCA competition, finishing 2024 with 5 wins and 9 podiums across 17 races.
